Welcome to Week 3 of Coaster of the Day. Here were this week’s roller coasters.

Day 15, Blue Fire Megacoaster. This magnetic launched coaster sends you at a top speed of 62 miles an hour (or 100 kilometers an hour) and takes you through 4 inversions. The most notable inversion is this barrel roll that completely throws riders around. This roller coaster has since been cloned 8 other times at various other parks around the world. This ride is located at Europa Park in Rust, Germany.

Day 16, Afterburn. This inverted coaster built by Swiss manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard is one of the fastest paced looping coasters in the world. Throughout nearly 3000 feet of track, Afterburn sends riders through 6 inversions, including a batwing double inversion that is taken at high speeds and even higher force. This inverted coaster is sure to whip, force and crank you around at every twist and turn. This ride is located at Carowinds in Charlotte, North Carolina and Fort Mill, South Carolina.

Day 17, Lech Coaster. This incredible creation starts off with a steep, twisted drop before sending riders through a wide variety of big hills, unique twists, and 3 inversions, including one that blasts over the coaster’s station. This ride is located at Legendia in Chorzow, Poland.

Day 18, Laff Trakk. This indoor spinning coaster isn’t just about twisting, turning and twirling, as it packs a plethora of theming that, when combined with the coaster itself, is sure to make you disoriented. This ride is located at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Day 19, Journey to Atlantis. This Orlando classic was one of the earliest iterations of the water coaster, a type of ride that combines the likes of a roller coaster and a flume-like water ride into one. Not only are riders going on a twisted, turning and dropping adventure, this ambitious attraction is part dark ride as well, making it great for any thrillseeker. This ride is located at SeaWorld Orlando in Orlando, Florida.

Day 20, Fenix. This winged coaster is one of the most well renowned looping coasters in the Netherlands. Not only does it feature 3 inversions, but this ride is very intense. Riders can experience up to 5 G’s of force that is sure to numb the bones of even the most experienced coaster riders. This ride is located at Toverland in Sevenum, Netherlands.

Day 21, The Big One. At a height of 213 feet (or 65 meters), this attraction held the record for the United Kingdom’s tallest roller coaster for a full 30 years, only being beaten this year by Thorpe Park’s new hyper coaster. Record holder or not, this ride is still massive. It starts with a wild twisted drop while carrying its energy through almost 5500 feet of track. This ride is located at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Blackpool, England.
