The Tacoma Hood has got to be one of the heaviest hoods I have ever tried to lift. I am super excited to instill these hood Struts from Redline Tuning.

The Install dose takes some specialty tools like a pop rivet gun, but besides that, you should have all the other tools already in your shop.

Installing the Hood Bracket is quite easy and just takes a little bit of measuring. Use a flexible tape measure and make sure to cover the hood with some blue tape so youre not writing on the hood with a sharpy.

Installing the Lower Brackets is slightly more tricking as your marking one area and then placing the bracket in a slightly different location. Simply make sure you line the bracket up with your mark and punch the location of one of the holes first.

Installing the Struts is very simple; they just snap into place. But make sure to cycle them before install, and this does take a little bit of weight behind you.
