I think this is the first time I've had an entirely empty measure for the whole ensemble in a piece

Ensemble choice inspired by    • Beethoven: Trio for 2 Oboes and Engli...  
The first theme is quite similar to my viola duet, and I thought the second theme reminded me of Herman Beeftink's music, but I couldn't find a piece that was actually similar to it (you should check out his music anyway)
