1993 was a massive year of change for Apple designs, and the Color Classic was one of the earliest flag bearers for "Espresso" their new design language. To some, it was the colorful, curvy start of a new era, but to others it was an underpowered, sacrilegious mockery of the "Compact Mac" line.

I've always loved the espresso aesthetic, and thought this tiny computer with a Trinitron tube was cool, but couldn't find a good reason to use one... until recently! In this video we attempt to restore a dead Color Classic to its stock form - a wonderful piece of Apple design history, and a solid foundation to build from.
