Two months ago, when adding the finishing touches to a customer's upgraded Atari 130XE, I discovered his brand new SIDE 3.2 cartridge did not work reliably in his computer or in my own daily-driver 600XL. The agonising, expensive saga which followed represents a depressing comedy of errors which has severely undermined my confidence in the future of this product and any potential derivatives.
