Since 2021, UNECE's Sustainability Pledge has succeeded in becoming the reference network to advance globally a more traceable, transparent, circular and sustainable garment and footwear sector. Today, our initiative is the framework where key actors join forces. They come from the academia, civil society, international organizations, suppliers, producers, and retailers. We count high diversity of pledging companies, from micro enterprises, through small, medium to large companies, pledging for traceability and transparency actions. They join from Europe, America, Africa, Asia and Oceania. Clearer than ever it is crucial to create a strong community of practice to accelerate traceability and transparency initiatives, and share best practices in the garment and footwear industry.
