MOUNTAIN ALTAI. Golden lake Teletskoye. Watch our new new film "Golden Lake Teletskoye", the third in a series of documentaries dedicated to the Altai Biosphere Reserve, one of the oldest and largest in Russia. The main character of the film is Lake Teletskoye, Altyn-Kol, as the indigenous population of Altai calls it. What secrets are hidden by the bottomless waters of one of the largest and deepest fresh water bodies in Russia? Professional divers explore the lake and discover for us a mysterious underwater world with its inhabitants - large and almost microscopic, as well as sunken ships and other objects. We continue the story about lake people living far from civilization, about their way
life that defines Lake Teletskoye. It is invaluable not only for the reserves of pure fresh water, which gives life to all living things. The taiga is rich in Siberia - the Siberian "jungle" with ancient cedars, dense thickets of ferns and rare forest orchids. The mountains surrounding the lake, turbulent rivers and streams that feed it with their waters, animals and birds and, of course, people who have devoted their lives to preserving the lake - all this helps us understand why Teletskoye is called the Golden Lake.
