So here's a bit of context cause I feel like it

So I got this idea before the special (obviously) and I just really wanted to see Macaque kicking Azure's a**. Basically I thought/hoped for a scene where Mac would be protecting MK in some sort of forest on top of some sort of mountain from what's left of the brotherhood (mostly Azure yeah mostly I just wanted to make an epic fight betweet Macaque and Azure). Basically taking Wukong's place for a minute while he's trapped in the scroll. I kinda wish that something like this still happened but hey :] I also like saying that this idea "didn't age well" cause you know Mk's got too silly himself iykyk hehehehehe so you can kinda imagine a similar scenario w him too haha but I ain't making that

The "Push, Push - Push, Push" moment was solely my idea/now probably should be called headcanon of sorts - that Azure played a major role in Macaque's story and "breakup" with Wukong - that he was the one actually manipulating Macaque into making him hate Sun Wukong and make him his enemy ( yeah we all saw that flasbacks eisode we all know how the story really goes now hehe)

And that last moment with the edge - is supposed to symbolize how Mac, blinded by his (or not even really his) anger toward SWK - alsmost lost his life, while fighting for not even his beliefs. (of course that he started to hate Wukong for real haha)

In this brief second he realised that - like - wtf am I doing this for ??

There's three main emotions in him in that moment:

Anger - towards SWK - not even really his anger - Mac was totally manipulated into hating him (here)
Disbelief - that Wukong would actually do that
And Fear - to lose his life you know obviously

I wish I could capture his emotions well at that moment but hey I tried my best and thats what matters

Annndd you know

Now after all these years, at Azure

Macaque

He gets unhinged and I think it's funny


No one can hate on this more than I do so don't even try to compete hahaha
