*UPDATED INFO* It has been brought to my attention that FSR 79 is closed and was closed at the time of our trip. We had no intention of traveling on any closed roads. At the time the road was not marked with any “Road Closed” signs and we made a rookie mistake. Lesson learned and we will definitely communicate with the Forest Rangers in the future. I was the navigator on this trip and I am dedicated to the conservation of these trails. I hope everyone respects others and treads lightly moving forward. Please check the maps and/or contact the Rangers office before planning your trips.

On day two of OVERLANDING the Georgia Traverse we climbed Tray mountain. This video shows the type terrain and scenic trail to the top of Tray mountain. I encourage anyone who loves the outdoors and enjoys off-roading to explore this area. Please be respectful of these public lands, clean up after yourselves, tread lightly and leave no trace. Let’s preserve this beautiful place for generations to come.
