Terrain*: The walk is astonishingly varied, taking in the lower Wye gorge, the Severn and the Dee rift valley, the pastures and woodlands of the border country, the remote moorland of the Black Mountains and the Clwydian range, and the dramatic limestone escarpments of Eglwyseg mountain.

Challenges: It was a lot harder walk than I was expecting. Compared to the previous hikes I’ve done recently this is one of the toughest.

Highlights:
🚶🏼‍♀️🚶Walking with so many different people.
💪I also felt really strong and fit on the hike and was really pleased with the big miles I was able to do plus finishing in eight days was a real bonus.🥳
