On Sunday afternoon, reigning champions City welcomed the Gunners to the Etihad Stadium.

The two teams played out an entertaining encounter after Haaland gave City the lead before Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel Magalhaes made it 2-1 at half-time.
With seconds remaining, City salvaged a draw as John Stones scored from close range.
After the goal, footage of Haaland emerged on social media, the video showed the City striker throwing the ball at an Arsenal player. This player was Gabriel.
The footage which quickly went viral on social media, caused a huge reaction.

While some see this as Haaland's revenge, many people, especially Arsenal fans, say this behaviour is a great disrespect.

One fan said: Typical Haaland! Always getting away with dirty play. If it were any other player, they’d be carded.

A second fan said: Haaland should have been sent off! Disgraceful behavior from a supposed ‘top striker.

A third said: "Gabriel gets targeted like this, and no one does anything? The refs are protecting City, plain and simple.

A fourth fan said: "Haaland's a great player, but this was out of line. He’s lucky the ref didn’t catch it, he deserved a suspension!"
