In this tutorial I show you a way to make a globe knot big enough to cover marbles and ball bearings, as well as how to make this knot a bit bigger by doubling the cords used. Originally, this method of tying the knot was shown by J.D.Lenzen, but I modified it a bit for easy tying.
In general, globe knots come in a variety of sizes. They are defined by facets or crossings. A globe knot with more facets is usually larger and will be able to cover a larger object. They can be quite interesting to use and explore.
