At the 2024 AUSA exhibition, Oshkosh Defense introduced the cutting-edge 30mm Medium Caliber Weapon System (MCWS), designed to enhance the firepower and precision of the Stryker armored vehicle. This advanced weapon system, featuring the XM813 30mm cannon and Javelin anti-tank missile launcher, provides U.S. Army Stryker Brigade Combat Teams (SBCTs) with unmatched lethality and tactical versatility. With modular design, the MCWS offers increased mobility, greater accuracy at extended ranges, and enhanced survivability. Beyond the Stryker, the MCWS is also adaptable to other platforms, including the AMPV and Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV). The system is set to be deployed in early 2025, reinforcing the U.S. Army’s modernization goals and improving combat readiness. Oshkosh Defense continues to work closely with the Army, ensuring that soldier feedback shapes this vital solution for future warfare.
