hi friends, welcome back to another vlog! michael headed to idaho for his bachelor party, so here’s how i filled my labor day weekend.

i really wanted to just go with the flow and see how the weekend unfolded itself and i’m quite happy with everything i was able to fit in from taking my first solo hiking trip, getting the BEST facial in seattle to prep for the wedding, going on solo dates to some of my favorite restaurants, and more.

the highlight of the weekend: hiking lake serene. we do this hike once every summer — it’s the hike that sold me on moving to washington — so being able to do it on my own was a huge milestone for me PLUS tacking on its sister hike to bridal veil falls made the day just that much more beautiful. i didn’t know if i physically had it in me, but i pushed myself and it ended up being one of the most magical days of my life!
