In this video Marcus carries out using the 2 lead high setting on his Megger MFT tester the external earth fault loop impedance (Ze) and prospective fault current tests. These live tests are carried out from inside the consumer unit (fuse board or fuse box) and will confirm the incoming supply has a connection to Earth and that the overcurrent protective devices can withstand the possible high levels of fault current.
