We visited High Falls State Park recently. It has the tallest cascading waterfall south of Atlanta. The park contains so much history! We did a few of the hiking trails and dove into the history of the park. High Falls is a beautiful state park in middle Georgia. There are so many family-friendly, cheap things to do in the area. Indian Springs State Park is nearby, as well as, Dauset Trails Nature Center, Lake Jackson, and the town of Juliette, where the movie Fried Green Tomatoes was filmed. You could make a whole day out of visiting High Falls State Park and the surrounding area.
