There are some popular books out there that are so hyped, you can't seem to be free of them, no matter what dark recesses of the Interwebs you turn to. Books like "Fourth Wing" by Rebecca Yarros and A Court of Thorn and Roses by Sarah J. Maas are seemingly on the top of every Booktuber and Booktocker's favorites lists. But are these popular books worth the hype? Are these books that you would even recommend to a friend? I wouldn't know, because I don't care to read these and other popular books that I'm going to talk about on this video: Are These Popular Books Worth the Hype?? (I Don’t Want to Read Them) #booktube. So don't forget to watch the whole video!

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
In 2024 I am attempting to accomplish something I never thought possible, even though I have always considered myself a lifelong reader: read a hundred books a year.

Yes, you read that right, in 2024 I'm attempting to read 100 books a year.

By attempting this, I am openly defying an argument I have often made on my channel--that one cannot read 100 books a year if one is busy with life, work, kids, school, socializing, etc.

But I did a little research, and I discovered a few tips and tricks to reading 100 books a year, and I'm going to use those tips and tricks over the course of 2024 to attempt what I formerly thought impossible.

Don't forget to subscribe to this channel to see if I can do it!!👇👇👇👇👇

And don't worry, I’ll only occasionally vlog about reading 100 books a year.

This channel will still include book reviews, book recommendations, lists on the best books available in historical fiction, literary fiction, literary nonfiction, and more.

Because, at its core, this channel is about GREAT STORIES.

STORIES YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO READ!
