In this video I will show you the best way to crochet around a hoop or ring. One of the wonderful things about crochet is its ability to adapt. Crocheting around a hoop is a great example of that. This is a fun technique that can be used in jewelry making or even for making keychains or wall hangings!

Instructions:
Make a slip knot and place it on your hook. Pull the hook and yarn through the hoop.
Yarn over above your hoop.
Pull through the loop on your hook and tighten.
While holding your tail along the earring (optional), insert your hook through the center of the hoop and pull up a loop.
Yarn over above the hoop.
Pull through both loops making a single crochet.
