I had no idea this mod existed until yesterday, when Min3r told me about it. It looked interesting, and since I was up when it released, I decided to make a gameplay video of it. (Although this is my 2nd attempt, because the first time I got softlocked in Pizzascape.)
I think this mod is OK, even though I don't like the changes to Noise's moveset (not being able to grab into wallbounce, whatever the hell the wallbounce physics are, crusher cancel being gone). Some of the changes are nice, though. I find it really weird how lapping isn't required at all for a P rank. Also, it seems that enemies with damaging hitboxes are a lot more likely to hit, probably because of priority reasons.
Dragon's Lair is great. I thought the level was a nice build up to the boss, and the actual boss is challenging and fun. However, some of the hitboxes don't feel correct and in Phase 2 it's hard to focus on everything happening. Still, not bad.
Maybe when I'm feeling up to it, I'll go and P rank every level.
