I took off from Wilson's airport and suddenly lost all power to the engine. As the engine began to sputter, I realized I needed to return. Aware that I wouldn't reach the airport, I searched for a place to land. Eventually, I landed on an uphill cow pasture, where I lost my footing and struck the engine on the ground, dislodging the pull starter. Since the incident, I have repaired the pull starter and the engine is operational once more. However, the exact cause of the engine failure remains unclear.
