This started out as a small project inspired by "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richard Williams in which the subject matter was different walk cycles. In said animation Richard Williams animated several characters walking in a straight line, each with their own distinct movement to show character, which I thought would be a fun little idea to tackle for Pokémon with its wide cast of different animals.

Once I settled for a theme from generation 4 I asked patrons of mine if they had suggestions for Pokémon from said generation they'd like to see animated which really helped with the overall arrangement of the music. The evolution/key-change in particular I'm very proud of, though I didn't have the heart to evolve Piplup
