Established as a park in 1930s, Silver Falls State Park is the largest state park in Oregon at 9,200 acres. Just 60 miles south of Portland at the base of the Cascade Mountains.

There are many activities to do in the area. Come along with us as we hiked around Trail of Ten Falls. Trail of Ten Falls is a moderate hike that allows visitors to walk behind four different waterfalls and view many others.

We stayed at Silver Falls Campground. It was a beautiful park that had full hook up sites, tent sites, equestrian sites, cabins, and restrooms.

We were in the area in mid October 2023.
