For this project I wanted to see if I could make a knife out of resin. This is the first part of a 3 part series! This week I make the resin knife, next week I make a knife out of (redacted) and the following week I make a knife out of (redacted), and (redacted). In the final video i will test all three knives to see which one will win in an all out battle of the most durable, and the sharpest.

I used two different silicone products for this video to make the initial mold. I then used a two part resin to cast the mold of the knife. After the resin cured I sanded down the edge, and then used a wet stone to get an edge on the knife. I also added a light to the knife!! this may be my favorite project.

Once this masterpiece was completed I tested its sharpness using the all telling Banana test. Come find out how it did!
