I searched the internet for a solution to the Bellman Espresso Steamer problem of entrained air in the steam produced that makes it very difficult to produce consistent textured milk without an awful lot of purging. It turns out that drilling 4 holes makes a huge improvement.
Without this fix you might find your first milk steamed is much more aerated than the following. You might have discovered if you do a really long purge it helps. You may also have decided you can only steam a small pitcher of milk and can't do enough for 2 lattes at once. You may have decided you need to heat up with the steam wand open for 10 minutes to remove all the air. Others have said they think the problem is wet steam or dry steam. No - this hack fixes all those issues for me.

Here is some timing data:
1. Original test before hack showing min:sec at each step:
0:00 turn on heat (valve open)
1:30 steam starts coming out
5:00 air mostly purged, close steam valve
9:00 relief valve opens. Ready to steam. Result - still have too much aeration

2. Test after hack (after video):
0:00 turn on heat (valve open)
1:30 steam starts coming out
3:00 air purged, close steam valve
7:00 Ready to steam. Result - just like an espresso machine - normal aeration

I also found enough steam for a single latte by the 6-minute mark- which is at least 3 minutes faster than before.

Late note - At least 1 person preferred how their Bellman worked before the mod - so before drilling any holes test using your Bellman with a very long purging time (e.g. leave steam valve open when heating to let out more than 5 minutes of steam) to make sure you like it better with the air completely removed.
