Rueda Con Ritmo's theme for 2023 was "Recordar es Volver a Vivir" (To Remember is to Live Again), playing on the dual meaning of "record" in the two languages and celebrating 45 years of Carnaval in SF with music and clothing from '78. Our three choreographies include the Cuban partner dances Salsa (aka Casino) and Son, as well as Cuban conga (the root of the conga line) and Afro-Cuban folkloric dance. Music is by Cuban artists Orquesta Ritmo Oriental and Son 14.

Special thanks to Virna and all of the TucSon Casineros (AZ) and to Jarryd from Casino Revó Dance (FL) for joining us in the parade, to Cristina and Yerba Buena Gardens Festival for hosting most of our rehearsals this year, and to Nora for the great video footage!
