In July, 2022, along with another couple, we took a 5 day, 4 night narrowboat trip from Whixall, England to Llangollen, Wales. The 56 mile round-trip was one of the best vacations we've had and we would highly recommend it to anyone who has a few days to spare in the UK. Every night we would dock in either a town or at a canal-side pub which was a great way to end the day. From the flat fields of Shropshire, to the expansive Vale of Llangollen, to the Welsh hill town of Llangollen, the scenery is varied and never boring.
