I love a DIY project using things I already have! This home office needed some major help, and the IKEA Hemnes line is great because it is actually solid wood, unlike the Billy Bookcase. I know I may get comments about ways to do this better, and that's OK! I love to learn new skills. We all start somewhere in our DIY journey and we can build our skillset with each new project.
