宮城県石巻市にある田代島、通称｢ 猫島｣でネコを撫でる様子を2024年5月18日に撮影したものです。田代島では、人懐っこいにゃんちゃんが多く、撫でさせてくれます。

田代島に渡るためには、石巻の｢中央｣桟橋か、｢門脇｣桟橋からシーキャット号かマーメイド号というフェリーに乗る必要があります。
田代島には、大泊（おおどまり）と、仁斗田（にとだ）の２つの港があり、料金は１人往復2500円です。現金支払いのみ(cash only)となりますので、気を付けてください。
フェリーは大泊港、仁斗田港の順に到着しますが、観光に適しているのは仁斗田港の方だと思います。

This photo was taken on May 18, 2024 of a cat being petted on Tashiro Island, commonly known as "Cat Island" in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. On Tashirojima, there are many friendly cats who will let you pet them.
To get to Tashirojima, you need to take a ferry called Sea Cat or Mermaid from Ishinomaki's Chuo Pier or Kadowaki Pier.

Tashirojima has two ports, Odomari and Nitoda, and the round-trip fare is 2,500 yen per person. Please note that we only accept cash payments.
The ferry arrives at Odomari Port and then Nitoda Port, but I think Nitoda Port is more suitable for sightseeing.
