Specialized targeted a segment dominated by Cannondale's CAAD series and managed to carve out a significant portion of the market. Much like its predecessors, the earlier Allez Sprints retain their value well in the secondary market.

The 2022 Allez Sprint remains faithful to the original formula but undergoes a comprehensive redesign, now closely resembling the company's top-tier Tarmac SL7 race bike. As expected, it adopts a disc-only configuration, reflecting the industry's trend towards disc brakes.
