The City of Tshwane now has a new mayor, Doctor Nasiphi Moya.

Moya was elected Wednesday afternoon after she clinched 122 votes, while former mayor Cilliers Brink, who was removed in a motion of no confidence two weeks ago, obtained 86 votes.

Moya was deputy mayor for nine months before her election.

Doctor Nasiphi Moya now joins us in the studio to share her vision for the city.
