In this video, i am taking a look at the brand new Trumpeter model kit of HMS Calcutta , a Royal Navy Light Cruiser, in 1/350 scale.
I have focussed this video on the building sequence, which might be of interest for some of you as it was released very recently and you might be curious what you get for your money.
The kit itself is perfectly fitting and has beautifully detailed surfaces. The part count is not that high, also there are some PE parts that are missed, like the outer railings, but it is a solid, enjoyable and unique kit, and that is what i have enjoyed about this kit the most. Every part you pick up just fits where it belongs.
