These hood pins will upgrade the safety of your classic or any car really. Like I said I had a hood open on me while going about 50mph in my 66 coupe. Ruined the hood, luckily did not crack my windshield. This mod can prevent a possibly fatal mishap, not being dramatic here. The hole for the pins was about 7/8.
