🎨 Brera is one of the most characteristic districts of Milan in the Lombard city, home to the Academy of Fine Arts and the city's bohemian nightlife. Find it out!

The area is named after the name of via Brera. The name Brera derives from braida: uncultivated land, vegetable garden. Braidense also derives from this word, associated with the homonymous library. The artists who since the nineteenth century gravitated around the Academy of Fine Arts have transformed the neighborhood into one of the most characteristic of Milan.

In fact, Brera practically looks like an autonomous city within Milan.

The limits of the district today are a little diffused for cultural reasons and proximity, in this tour we will see more less precisely the compressed area.
