In this video I show you how to tie a bead head flashback PHEASANT TAIL NYMPH. The flashback pheasant tail is an iconic nymph and should really be in every fly box. I find it very good underneath a dry fly as a dropper or as the point fly in a two nymph rig. It's really popular because it is so effective.

Materials:
Bead: 2.5mm slotted tungsten in black or gold
Hook: Size 14 Kumho barbed nymph hook
Thread: 8/0 black or brown
Rib: Small copper wire
Body: Pheasant tail
Thorax: Peacock herl
Wing case: Any flash material of your choice
Optional: Thick UV resin over wing case
