If you want to travel overland between the east and west coasts of Australia, the Indian Pacific is a fabulous way to do it. This experience-based rail service links Sydney, Adelaide, and Perth, with additional stops along the way. The trip covers 4,000+ kilometres and takes between four and five days depending on the direction of travel.
