A planned morning ride to Black Diamond, WA was a big ol’ fail with me running home with my tail between my legs when Black Diamond looked to be covered in dark rain clouds.

I went home and had an emotional BM that had been interrupted earlier by my son (ah, the joys of a one bathroom home!), changed into my Big Boy Pants, and since nobody was home anyway- resolved to head back out and do an even more ambitious ride and take the Whizzer all the way around Lake Washington!

Will I beat the rain?
