If you’re coming to Italy, chances are you're about to drink copious amounts of amazing wine! 😍🍷 And what’s cooler than getting served a delicious glass through a window that was built over 400 years ago?! 🍷

Wine Windows or "Buchette del Vino" started in the 16th century as a way for nobles to sell wine directly to the people, cutting out the middle man (aka the tax man) and they became even more convenient during the 17th century with the outbreak of the bubonic plague, as a way to limit contact with the disease.

Today I’m trying out 3 different wine windows around Florence, checking out what is served at each one of them and how much it costs. Plus we stop to grab a panino through a food window & also pop into our favorite Irish pub in the city, Lion's Fountain! w/‪@TheGlobalExpats‬
