In this week's Episode of Guitar Talk we have another incredible 1990 Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Colours Edition in Transparent Yellow!!
The decade of 1990-2000 is Gibson's second best decade IMO, right behind the Ted McCarty era from about 1952-1962 or '64 when the company broke so much ground. To me, these Limited Colours Models are THE example of what Gibson was doing in 1990. Just absolutely incredible! These models were released in a series of 200 for each of the 6 colors. (it was actually spelled COLOURS on the decal on the guitar)
We'll take this for a test drive and check it out!!
