Echigo-Yuzawa is famous as one of the best winter resorts in Japan.
It hardly gives the impression of being a tourist destination to visit in summer, but when I actually visited there, I found it to be full of charm.

The beautiful nature of Echigo Yuzawa, which can only be enjoyed in summer, is captured in this video.

It is a great nature resort only about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Tokyo Station, but it is not crowded and you can spend a relaxing time there. It takes less time than Tokyo-Enoshima!
