Located towards the western end of the Algarve, Portimão is one of the largest towns on this coast with a population approaching 40,000. It has one of the most beautiful beaches in the algarve, Praia Da Rocha. Also, it has a buzzing nightlife scene and party strip. Portimao is also home to the largest afrobeats festival in the world Afro Nation.
