سورۃ الملک، قرآن مجید کی 67ویں سورت ہے، جس میں 30 آیات شامل ہیں۔ یہ سورت اللہ تعالیٰ کی مکمل حاکمیت اور قدرت پر زور دیتی ہے اور زندگی اور موت کے فلسفے، ایمان اور کفر کے نتائج کو واضح کرتی ہے۔ اس میں اللہ کی تخلیق کردہ کائنات کے عجائبات کو اُس کی قدرت اور حکمت کی نشانیوں کے طور پر پیش کیا گیا ہے، اور انسانوں کو دعوت دی گئی ہے کہ وہ غور و فکر کریں اور ان نشانیوں سے اللہ کی عظمت کو پہچانیں۔یہ سورت اُن لوگوں کو خبردار کرتی ہے جو اللہ کی ہدایت کو رد کرتے ہیں اور آخرت، قیامت اور نجات کی حقیقت کو جھٹلاتے ہیں۔ اسلامی روایات میں سورۃ الملک کی تلاوت کو بہت فضیلت والا عمل قرار دیا گیا ہے، اور کہا جاتا ہے کہ اس کی تلاوت قبر کے عذاب سے حفاظت کا ذریعہ بنتی ہے۔
