I ventured to the border of India and Bangladesh to visit India’s CLEANEST river. As many other large bodies of water in India continue to reel under toxic foam and pollutants, the River Umngot remains crystal clear (weather depending) and free of filth. This is partly due to Meghalaya’a strict anti pollution initiatives!

For me the most fascinating part of this was seeing crowds of people only meters away but in an entirely different country.
