Extended cold rain and no coho willing to play is what you get on the lakes in mid-November. But several groups of river otters (my spirit animal) made my day, Pepper's not so much, she was wet, cold and thought they were cats.
Really nice 19" jack coho made it a great day fishing. Hooked it short trolling a spinner and it made a really nice run before the GoPro powered up, thought it was an adult waking up to fight but just a beautiful jack. Leaves me tag space for 2 more adults so more days of fishing for us coming soon!
