Huckleberry Picking: How To Pick Huckleberries Fast

Watch Heather and I demonstrate one of the fastest and most efficient ways to pick huckleberries. We came across so many different kinds of edible berries on this day. We found Thimbleberries, Blackberries, Strawberries and Huckleberries.

It was a wonderful day, weather was a little overcast but great for huckleberry picking. The dogs even got in on the fun and decided to pick some of their own huckleberries, we have taught them well!

We don't like to disclose our location but we are in the pacific northwest and the elevation we were at on this day was around 5,000 feet and it was around mid August. The huckleberries up there were fantastic but still a little unripe up at that elevation. In a week or 2 they should be absolutely fantastic in this area.
