It's really not cool when you get a fake product (while paying full price nonetheless)! This is a comparison between the counterfeit Shure BETA 57A that I received shipped by Amazon.de and the original Shure BETA 57A I ordered from Thomann.de!

This is not to encourage better counterfeits but instead to inform buyers about the differences and to let them know to check if they have one or not. If it weren't for people discussing this online, I would now own the fake and wouldn't even know.

I hope you have more luck — or just buy from an official Shure reseller.
