Welcome to Foods Of India.

Today we are going to prepare Chettinad mutton gravy which serves as an excellent side dish for idli, dosa, briyani and all types of variery rice

This dish is a paradise for all meat lovers.
The taste of this dish is enhanced as we prepare Mutton gravy with Homemade Masala which is fresh.

This can be used as mutton Kulambu if the consistency of gravy is not to thick. Try this village style mutton gravy and leave your feedback as comments.

Ingredients
Mutton - 300 gm

For Dry Roast
Fennel seeds - 1 tspn
Cumin seeds- 1 tspn
Pepper - 1 tspn
Cinnamon - 1 small piece
Cardamon - 1
Cloves - 3

For Mutton Gravy
oil - 3 tspn
Bay leaf - 1
Kalpasi - 1/4 tspn
Star anise -1
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tspn
Cinnamon - 1
Cloves - 2
Cardamom - 1


Shallots - 200 gm
salt for onion
green chilli -2
Curry leaves
Ginger paste - 1/2 tspn
Garlic paste - 1/2 tspn

Red chilli powder - 11/2 tspn
Coriander powder - 1/2 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
tomato -1
Salt - As required



Mix welll

Put the lid on along with weight and let it cook for 15 minutes.
