There’s something magical about a perfectly baked Snickerdoodle. This recipe is all about soft, cinnamony, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Ingredients:

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 3 cups all-purpose flour

For Rolling:

• 4 Tbsp sugar
• 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla, and mix until well combined. Mix in the flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar until fully incorporated.

Using a 3-tablespoon cookie scoop, portion out the dough and roll each scoop into a ball.

In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Roll each dough ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.

Place the coated dough balls on a baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.

Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are set and the cookies are slightly golden.

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
