So when Willie Fritz took the job at Tulane, he understood that this project would take time. After not playing in a major bowl game in over 80 years, Tulane made program history in an unlikely way. After winning 2 games in 2021, the Green Wave finished the 2022 season with 12 wins and a Cotton Bowl victory, completing the greatest turnaround in College Football History.
