We decided to 3D-print an “airless” basketball out of PEBA filament. Out of all the filaments we have tried, this PEBA filament made the best-performing airless basketball that we have made yet. Printer settings/info:
Printer: Bambu Lab P1S
Custom PEBA profile (using settings recommended by KIMYA)
Nozzle Temperature: 250C
Bed Temperature: 100C
Speed: 40 mm/s
Walls: 4
Infill: 50% gyroid infill
Support settings: I had to block supports at the top and paint them on the bottom using Bambu Studio, then I used normal (manual) supports.
