Australian Museum has changed so much since I last visited. I still remember many of the old exhibits, now with the use of touch screens and technology, you can access more information and walk away with a memorable experience. The presentation with the projection on the entire floor was fantastic.
The kids love the discovery center and T.Rex Autopsy where they simulate a dissection of the T.Rex. My favorite is still the Australian birds Display on the top floor. I was disappointed to hear that the the Egyptian Tombs and Mummy display no longer exists. There are toilets on most floors, a Kidspace for children up to 5 years to keep them entertained. There is a cafe upstairs but was extremely busy when we were there so we headed to Pitt St mall for lunch. Don't forget to browse through their gift shop, there are great stuff inside.
There are plenty of hands on things to do for you and the kids, so give yourself plenty of time. Hope you enjoy our video of the day and give the Australian Museum another go if you havn't already, you won't be disappointed.
